Boston College Places Second at Diamante Intercollegiate

Cynthia Zhang finishes second overall at 13-under par
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Boston College finished second overall at the Diamante Intercollegiate, three strokes behind #32 Florida Gulf Coast.
BC finished the 54-hole tournament at 13-under par, registering scores of 284-285-282 to close out the 2024 fall slate. Â During the four tournaments this fall, the Eagles registered a win and two runners-up finishes.
Cynthia Zhang led the way for Boston College, finishing second overall at 13-under par - two shots off the individual lead. Â Zhang carded scores of 68, 67, and 68 in the final round. Â For the 54-hole tournament, Zhang recorded only one bogey and played her final 36 holes bogey-free.
Stephany Kim had her best performance of the fall, finishing in ninth place. Â Kim opened the tournament with a pair of 1-under 71's before closing on Tuesday with a final round 70. Â Frances Kim improved over the course of the tournament, recording scores of 75 and 74 in the opening two rounds before posting a 2-under 70 during Tuesday's final day of play.
Angel Lin tied for 34th place (71-76-74), while Emily Böhrer tied for 47th (74-73-76).
BC led the 18-team field in par 3 (2.95 avg, -3) and was third in par 5 scoring (4.70 avg., -18).
