BC Finishes 12th at VCU Shootout

RICHMOND, Va. -- Boston College finished 12th at the VCU Shootout, held Sept. 18-19 at the Country Club of Virginia. As a team, the Eagles finished at 5-under par, posting scores of 293-280-286 for a total of 859. BC ranked third in the field in total pars (179).

Cameron Harlock was BC's top finisher, tying for 15th place. After an opening round 74, Harlock was 8-under par over the final 36 holes of play. He shot a second round 69 before going bogey-free in Tuesday's final round 67. Harlock was 8-under on par 5 holes for the tournament.

Jack Pogorelc and Mac Bredahl tied for 40th place, finishing at 1-under. Pogorelc opened with a 73 before closing tournament play with a pair of 71's. Bredahl's best round - a 3-under 69 - came during the second round of play. He shined on par 3 play, playing those holes at 4-under for the tournament.

Ben Hong tied for 69th (74-72-77), while Mac Lee tied for 78th (77-76-74).

Boston College returns to action on Oct. 1-3 at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse in Hampden, Mass.
