
Eagles Drop Final Game of Georgia Tech Series

ATLANTA, GA – Boston College lost to Georgia Tech 10-2 in game three of the series. The Eagles go to 18-19 on the season and 2-10 in the ACC while the Yellow Jackets improve to 20-19 and 4-11 in the conference.Â
Tech came out swinging to begin this one, they took a quick 3-0 lead in the first inning on a three run home run from Sarah Beth Allen. They then tacked on three more runs in the second inning to take a 6-0 lead after two.Â
BC did respond in the third with a two run homer from Senior Abigail Knight. It was her fourth home run of the season.Â
Both Susannah Anderson and Abby Dunning made appearances in the circle for the Eagles. Anderson pitched 1.2 innings and allowed two hits and recorded one strikeout and Dunning pitched four innings, allowing two hits and recording two strikeouts as well.Â
Boston College Softball will be back in action on Tuesday to host UConn at Harrington Athletics Village at 4 PM EST.Â
