Softball Falls To BU in Final Home Game of Season

Eagles move to 21-25, will get ready to head to Louisville this weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, MASS – Boston College lost to Boston University 11-0 on Tuesday evening. The Eagles are now 21-25 heading into their final six ACC games and the Terriers improve to 43-7.Â
There was only one run scored in the first four innings as BU led 1-0 for the majority of the game. In the fifth, the Terrier offense exploded for a ten run inning, including a grand slam by Kayla Roncin.Â
For the Eagles, Abby Dunning got the start, she pitched 4.1 innings, recording three strikeouts and allowing five hits.Â
BC will be back this weekend to take on Louisville for a three game series beginning on Friday at 6 PM EST.Â
