Stroke play begins on Thursday; Match play to be contested on Saturday and Sunday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's golf is set to begin play at the 2023 ACC Championship, held April 13-16 at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
The format for the ACC Championship includes 54 holes of stroke play on April 13-14 before match play begins on April 15. The top four teams following stroke play will advance to match play semifinals. The finals will be contested on April 16.
Stroke play begins on Thursday, April 13 with 36 holes of continuous play. BC will be paired with Notre Dame and Miami, starting on hole 10. The final 18 holes of stroke play will be contested on Friday, April 14.
The Donald Ross designed golf course at Sedgefield Country Club opened for play in 1926. Since that time, it has fueled Greensboro's passion for golf and attracted tournament play to the Triad. The par-71 course offers five sets of tees that provide a fun, yet challenging time for golfers of all skill levels. Sedgefield is also home of the PGA Tour's Wyndham Championship. Established in 1938 as the Greater Greensboro Open, the Wyndham Championship is the oldest regular season stop on the TOUR and remains a popular attraction to many in the region.
