Eagles Break Two School Records at Scarlet & White Invitational

Katherine Mitchell's 800m Performance Climbs up to Eighth in the NCAA, 2nd in ACC
BOSTON – After climbing her way to second in the all-time record books for the indoor mile last weekend, Katherine Mitchell continued her strong 2022-23 campaign by breaking the Boston College school record in the 800m run with a time of 2:03.48 at the Scarlet & White Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4. Mitchell now holds the eighth best 800m time in the NCAA and the second best in the ACC this indoor season.
Mitchell was also part of the school record-breaking 4x400m relay team that featured a debuting Sydney Segalla, junior Kyla Krawczyk, and fellow senior Anna Cleary. BC finished with a time of 3:43.73 to place fourth out of 20 teams.
Krawczyk (400m), Cleary (400m), and Segalla (200m)Â put together strong performances in their individual events as well - Finishing sixth, 20th, and 29th in their respective events.
