
Eagles Wrap Up BU Series at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's track & field team prepares for a two day meet at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational this weekend. The women will kick off their events on Friday at 10:00 a.m. The men will continue action into the following day, starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
Katherine Mitchell continued her strong 2022-23 campaign by breaking the Boston College school record in the 800m run with a time of 2:03.48 at the Scarlet & White Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 4. Mitchell now holds the ninth best 800m time in the NCAA and the second best in the ACC this indoor season.
Mitchell was also part of the school record-breaking 4x400m relay team that featured a debuting Sydney Segalla, junior Kyla Krawczyk, and fellow senior Anna Cleary. BC finished with a time of 3:43.73 to place fourth out of 20 teams.
Krawczyk (400m), Cleary (400m), and Segalla (200m) put together strong performances in their individual events as well - Finishing sixth, 20th, and 29th in their respective events.
The meet will be streamed live on FloTrack, with live results provided via Lancer Timing Services.

The Eagles travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. on Feb. 18 to compete in the JDL DMR Invitational.
