
Eagles Put Together Strong Performance at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

Kyla Krawczyk (400m) and Sophie Albright (High Jump) set new personal records
BOSTON – Junior Kyla Krawczyk (400m) and sophomore Sophie Albright (High Jump) each set new personal bests in their respective events this weekend at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Sophie Albright won her heat and placed ninth overall out of 25 athletes scoring a height of J1.66m while Krawczyk placed 12th out of 231 participants in the 400m dash with a time of 55.40. Sydney Segalla finished just six spots behind Krawczyk - placing 18th with a time of 55.78.
Sophia Schwartz finished in the top third of the 60m dash open with a time of 8.08. Charli Beekman finished shortly after in a 28th-place effort (8.15).
Katherine Mitchell also put together a strong mile run - placing 32nd out of 288 runners for a time of 4:39.24. She was followed by Sarah Flynn, who finished the mile in 4:48.93 for a 71st-place finish.
Marne Sullivan was the top runner for the Eagles in the 800m - finishing 42nd overall out of a field of 248 runners with a time of 2:08.05.
