BOSTON COLLEGE VS. SYRACUSE - ALL-TIME SERIES

Today's game marks the 83rd meeting between the two schools. Boston College is 26-56 all-time vs. Syracuse.
This is the second of two regular season meetings vs. the Orange. Cuse won the first matchup, 79-65, on Dec. 31.
Syracuse is Boston College's fourth-most common opponent. BC has lost its last nine - and 11 of its last 12 - against the Cuse.

Boston College held #20/23 Clemson to 54 points on Jan. 31 - the fourth-lowest point total against a ranked opponent in the shot clock era.
It was also the lowest opponent point total in an ACC win since Jan. 7, 2020, when BC held #18 Virginia to 53 points.
The lowest opponent point total in the shot clock era came on Feb. 19, 2011, when BC held #19 North Carolina to 48 points.

POST SPECTACULAR OVER LAST FOUR

Over his last four games, Quinten Post is showing why he is one of the best all-around frontcourt players in the country.
The 7-footer is averaging 21.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game. BC is 3-1 during the span.
He is connecting on nearly 57% from the floor, 45% from 3FG, and is a perfect 19-for-19 from the FT line in those four games.
Post had a career-high 29 points at Notre Dame on Jan. 21, following that up with 22 vs. Louisville and 24 at Virginia.
Post is the first BC player since Ky Bowman from Feb. 28-March 8, 2018 to score 22 or more points in three consecutive games.
Post is just under the 50/40/90 line for the season, connecting on 55.8% FG, 38.5% from 3FG, and 96.8% from the FT line.

ASHTON-LANGFORD WITH CAREER-HIGH SIX STEALS

Makai Ashton-Langford logged a career-best six steals against Clemson on Jan. 31.
It is tied for the seventh-most by a BC player in a single game. Troy Bell and Michael Adams share the single-game record (8).
They are the most by an Eagle since Steffon Mitchell registered six steals on Dec. 15, 2019 against Central Connecticut.
It was the highest steal total by a BC player in an ACC game since Rakim Sanders had seven against UNC on Jan. 4, 2009.
