BOSTON COLLEGE VS. VIRGINIA - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game is the 28th all-time meeting between the two teams.
- Boston College is 8-19 all-time against Virginia. In ACC regular season play, BC is 7-15 against Virginia.
- This is the second of two regular season meetings with the Cavaliers. On Jan. 28, the No. 7/6 Cavs earned a 76-57 win in Charlottesville.
- On Jan. 7, 2020, the Eagles snapped a six-game losing streak vs. the Cavaliers with a 60-53 win at home.
- BC has dropped its last five matchups with Virginia.

- The Cumming, Ga. product made 3-of-4 field goals and 10-of-10 free throws - the first time BC player made at least 10 free throws without a miss since Derryck Thornton was 11-for-11 from the FT line in a win over N.C. State on Feb. 16, 2020.
- On Dec. 21, McGlockton scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half to help lead BC over #20/21 Virginia Tech.
- Six of those 13 second half points came during a key 8-0 run, helping BC build a nine-point lead with under 5:00 to play.
- On Nov. 30 at Nebraska, McGlockton logged his first career double-double, with 20 points and 11 boards.
- Boston College is 9-2 when he blocks at least one shot and 6-2 when he plays 20 minutes or more.
- McGlockton ranks second in FG% (55.2%) effective FG% (57.3%), and true shooting percentage (62.1%).
- Against Rhode Island, McGlockton scored the evental go-ahead basket with 1:07 remaining in the game.
- He also sealed the victory with two free throws with eight seconds remaining; scoring six of his 11 points in the final 1:40.
- Against Wyoming, McGlockton had 12 points (5-8 FG; 2-3 3FG), four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and three blocks.
- The last player to post a similarly complete stat line - Steffon Mitchell against Duke (12p/5r/1a/1s/3b).
- McGlockton is the first Boston College player in at least 26 years to post that stat line coming off the bench.
- Boston College saw its 420-game streak with at least one made 3-pointer end on Jan. 17 at North Carolina.
- BC was 0-for-6 from beyond the arc in the game - marking the first time since Nov. 28, 2009 that BC went without a 3-pointer.
