BOSTON COLLEGE VS. LOYOLA CHICAGOÂ - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the second meeting between the two schools.
- BC won the lone previous meeting - 78-66 - on Nov. 21, 2018.
- The matchup came in the title game of the Fort Myers Tipoff Classic.
BOSTON COLLEGE VERSUS THE ATLANTIC 10
- Boston College is 37-40 against Atlantic 10 opponents.
- This is BC's second Atlantic 10 opponent this season. The Eagles downed Richmond, 68-61, on Nov. 15.
- Last year, the Eagles won a pair of matchups against A-10 teams.
- BC downed George Mason, 71-56, in the Paradise Jam opener. The Eagles handled Rhode Island, 53-49, at home on Nov. 27, 2022.

- Today is the last game of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City.
- Dating back to 1951-52, Boston College has compiled a 100-92 record in multi-team events (MTE) and in-season tournaments.
- Last season, BC finished third in the U.S Virgin Islands Paradise Jam, earning victories over George Mason and Wyoming.
- In 2018-19, the Eagles captured the inaugural Fort Myers Tipoff in Fort Myers, Fla. - the last MTE victory for BC.
- This marks the first time that BC has been a part of the field of the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame Classic.
QUINTEN POST EARNS USBWA NATIONAL & ACC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS
- Quinten Post was named one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week by the USBWA on Nov. 21.
- A day earlier, he was named the ACC Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Nov. 20.
- He averaged 18.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.0 blocks - including two double-doubles - in a 2-0 week.
- Post had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and a career-best five assists in a win over Richmond on Nov. 15. Â
- He followed that up with another historic performance in the win over Harvard on Nov. 18.Â
- The 7-footer scored 20 points and set new career-highs with 19 rebounds and five blocked shots. Â
- BC is 4-0 this season - the best start since 2007-08 - and Post has logged three double-doubles in four starts. Â
- Post is the only player in the country averaging 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.0 blocked shots per game. Â

- Since 1996-97, only two other players in the ACC have posted similar stat lines: Shelden Williams (Duke); Tim Duncan (Wake)
- Williams had 21 points, 19 rebounds, five blocks, three assists, and two steals on Dec. 4, 2005 against Virginia Tech.
