Fencing Competes at Northeast Conference Championships

Eagles go a combined 11-3 on Sunday at the Conference meet
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Fencing team hosted and competed in the 2023 Northeast Fencing Conference Championships on Sunday at the Margot Connell Recreation Center. Â
The meet consisted of nine rounds, with each team having a bye in one of those rounds. The Eagles were joined by Brandeis, Brown, MIT, Sacred Heart, Tufts, Vassar, Wellesley, and Wagner. Boston College received a bye in round 1, and then proceeded to compete in all of the final eight rounds of the meet. The Men's team only competed in six rounds due to Wellesley and Tufts not having Men's programs.Â
