Fencing Earns All-ACC Academic Honors

Eight members of the Fencing team earn All-ACC Academic Honors on Thursday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2026 Men's and Women's Fencing All-Academic teams on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles had eight honorees, four from the Men's team and four from the Women's team.Â
To be selected to the All-ACC Academic Teams, athletes must have a 3.0 grade-point average for the fall semester and a 3.0 cumulative average throughout their academic career. The student-athletes must also have competed in either the ACC Fencing Championships or the NCAA Fencing Championships.
The Boston College Men's Fencing team had four athletes named to the All-ACC Academic team. All four athletes honored had a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, while Daniel Gao led the Eagles in the classroom, earning the highest Fall semester grade point average.Â
The Boston College Women's Fencing team had four athletes named to the All-ACC Academic team. Of the four athletes honored, three earned a grade point average of 3.4 or higher, with Rachel Buhay earning the highest Fall semester grade point average.Â
