Johnson Wraps Up Competition at NCAA Championships

Lydia Johnson finishes 13th in Women's Saber

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Lydia Johnson wrapped up her trip to the NCAA National Championships with the final two rounds of the women's saber competition. Johnson finished with 10 wins over five rounds and placed 13th in the country.

The men's competition begins tomorrow, with Ivan Goriunov beginning the competition at 9:00 a.m. in the epee. Elijah Onik and Yikai Lu will start the foil at 11:00 a.m., with Berman the last to start in saber at 1:00 p.m. They will follow the same schedule as Johnson: rounds 1-3 on Saturday, and the final rounds, semifinals, and finals on Sunday.
