Men's and Women's teams combined for 9-2 record on Sunday.

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Boston College Fencing team competed in the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday in Waltham, Mass. at the Red Auerbach Arena.

The meet consisted of eight rounds, with a few teams having a bye during one of the rounds. The Eagles were joined by Brandeis, Drew, Lawrence, Cornell, Brown, MIT, Wellesley College, Yale, Yeshiva, St. John's, Tufts, and LIU. Boston College received a bye in round 1 for both the Men's and Women's teams, as well as round 3. The Men's team competed in six of the eight rounds, while the Women's team competed in five of eight.

Key Moments and Stats

The Men defeated No. 8 ranked St. Johns 16-11 in Round 8.
The Women defeated No. 10 ranked Cornell 18-9 in Round 6.
The Men's team finished the meet with an overall record of 5-1 with wins against Drew, Lawrence, LIU, Cornell, and St. John's.
The Women's team completed their five rounds with a 4-1 record, while defeating Drew, Lawrence, LIU, and Cornell.
Men's Sabre and Foil both went 6-0 on the day, while Epee finished with a 3-3 record.
Women's Sabre and Epee both compiled 4-1 records. While Foil went 3-2.
