BOSTON COLLEGE VS. HARVARD - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Today's game marks the 52nd meeting between the two schools. Boston College is 35-16 all-time versus Harvard
- Harvard is BC's 13th most-common opponent. The first-ever matchup came on Jan. 15, 1906; Harvard won, 42-6.
- The two teams played nine straight years between the 2008-09 and 2016-17 seasons. BC went 2-7 during that stretch.
- Boston College is 16-9 all-time at home against Harvard.
BOSTON COLLEGE VERSUS THE IVY LEAGUE
- Boston College is 97-30 in games versus Ivy League opponents. Harvard is BC's' most common Ivy League foe (51 meetings; 35-16).
- This is the lone content against an Ivy League opponent in 2023-24. Last year, BC opened 2022-23 with a 79-77 win over Cornell.

DOUBLE IT UP
- For the first time since the 2018-19 season, two Boston College players logged double-doubles in the same game.
- Prince Aligbe (15 pts/10 reb) and Quinten Post (17 pts/10 reb) led the way for the Eagles in the win over Richmond.
- Previously, Nik Popovic (15 pts/10 reb) and Ky Bowman (24 pts/16 reb) did so at Notre Dame on Jan. 12, 2019.
- Aligbe's 10 rebounds were a career-high and the double-double his first. Post logged his second double-double of 2023-24.
- Post has recorded two double-doubles this season and six in his career. BC is 5-1 when Post registers a double-double.
 CAN'T KNOCK THE HUSTLE
- Boston College is 1-0 this year, 7-1 in 2022-23 and 9-2 since Feb. 21, 2022 when Jaeden Zackery scores at least 15 points.
- Zackery tallied a career-high 21 points in nearly 39 minutes of play at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Trailing by six with 16:36 to play, he scored 10 of his 21 points, while also tallying two assists and two steals down the stretch.
- The junior playmaker made 8-of-12 shots from the floor, including 1-of-3 from the perimeter and 4-of-5 from the FT line.
- When Zackery goes to the free throw line at least five times, BC is 1-0 this year, was 7-2 in 2022-23, and is 10-3 all-time.
- Zackery has committed one or fewer turnovers in all three games in 2023-24 and has two in 97 minutes of play so far.
- Boston College has won its last five games - and six of its last seven - when Zackery has one or less turnovers in a game.

A HELPING HAND FOR 2023-24
- Donald Hand Jr. came off the bench to score a career-best 14 points in a win at The Citadel on Nov. 10.
- Hand - who missed much of the 2022-23 season due to injury - made 5-of-11 shots (2-5 3FG) in 26 minutes off the bench.
- In the season opener against Fairfield, Hand saw 18 minutes of play, scoring nine points on 3-of-7 shooting from 3-point land.
- He added four rebounds, two assists, and a steal in his first game action in nearly a year.
- Last year, Hand Jr. tore his ACL after :37 of play in the first half vs. Detroit Mercy - game two of the season - on Nov. 11, 2022.
- After successful surgery on Nov. 30, 2022, the 6-5 guard relentlessly attacked his rehabilitation.
- Despite being fully cleared for action during this past summer, Hand did not play in the Eagles' three-game European tour.
STRONG SECOND HALF FOR McGLOCKTON AT THE CITADEL
- Devin McGlockton scored all 12 of his points in 18 minutes of play in the second half at the Citadel.
- Boston College is 7-3 all-time when the versatile sophomore reaches double-digits in the scoring column.
- He made 6-of-7 shots from the floor, while grabbing two rebounds and tallying an assist, a steal, and a blocked shot.
- McGlockton is connecting on nearly 77% of his shot attempts through two games (10-of-13).
- Thr 6-7 post presence is averaging 1.7 blocked shots per game in nearly 30 minutes of playing time.
- For his career, BC is 14-4 when he blocks at least one shot, 8-0 when he blocks at least two, and 11-4 when he plays 20+ min.
PRINCE-IPAL
- Prince Aligbe returns for his second season, looking to build upon a promising rookie campaign.
- BC is 2-0 this year and 10-2 all-time when Aligbe grabs at least six rebounds, including a 7-2 record in ACC contests.
- Aligbe started 24 of the 27 games he played in 2022-23, missing seven games in November due to a high ankle sprain.
- He consistently made big contributions in his first collegiate season, especially in the second half of several big wins.
- Aligbe made an immediate impact in his first collegiate game, connecting on the gamewinner in the opener vs. Cornell.
- The 6-7 four-star forward from Minneapolis scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half, including eight in the final 4:00 of play.
- Aligbe narrowly missed a double-double vs. the Big Red, grabbing a season-high nine rebounds.
- The Minneapolis product scored eight of his 10 points in the second half of the home win over #22/23 Clemson on Jan. 31.
- He scored 10 of his 15 points in the second half vs. ND on Jan. 3, including a jumper with 2:32 left, making it 61-60.
- When Aligbe scores in double figures, Boston College is 6-2, including a 5-2 mark in 2022-23.
MADSEN WITH CONSISTENT CONTRIBUTIONS OFF BENCH
- In two of BC wins this season, Mason Madsen has come off the bench to tally nine points in a key reserve role.
- Madsen added six boards and two assists against the Stags. He had four boards and a steal against Richmond.
- Madsen connected on 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, helping BC to shoot nearly 41% from the perimeter (11-27) for the game.
- Over the last 14 games in 2022-23, Mason Madsen averaged 6.6 points, while making better than 36% of his 3-point attempts.
- Dating back to last season, Madsen has connected on 24 of his last 64 3-point attempts (37.5%).
- One of the most consistent guards for BC, Madsen committed 16 turnovers over his last 24 games/448 minutes played.
