Last Time Out
Four Eagles scored in double figures and the defense forced 31 turnovers for 33 points in their 67-58 win over Northeastern on Sunday. Teya Sidberry scored a game-high 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field, adding six rebounds. T'yana Todd scored 13 points in her first start of the season, while Dontavia Waggoner and Andrea Daley scored 13 as well. Waggoner collected five steals and six of her seven rebounds on the offensive end. Daley grabbed six rebounds and added a pair of steals with one block.Â
A Win Would
- Give BC a 3-1 mark to the season.
- Improve the Eagles' record to 4-7 against Ohio State.
- Give the Eagles their first ranked win over a non-conference foe since 2008 (No. 22 TCU).
Getting Adjusted
Sidberry is showing her adjustment to a new program quite well over the last two games, averaging 15.5 points on 60.8 shooting and six rebounds. Her numbers over the past two games are well above her career averages of 5.5 points and 3.6 rebounds. The sophomore forward tied a career high of 16 points against Harvard before scoring 15 against the Huskies on Sunday.Â
By the Numbers
4 - Waggoner is tied for fourth in the nation in steals with 13 after totaling five against Northeastern. The senior guard has at least three swipes in all multiple contests and has multiple steals in 22 of the last 27 games.Â
11Â - The Eagles' 11 turnovers per game is 22nd in the nation.
31 - The 31 turnovers forced on Sunday is the most under coach Mac. BC is 23rd in the nation forcing 23.3 turnovers per game, scoring 19.9 points per game off its opponents' miscues.Â
55 - BC has scored 55 percent of its points in the paint through the first three games.Â
What to Watch for
- The Eagles are 22nd in the country averaging just 11 turnovers through the first three games. Watch if they can protect the ball against an Ohio State team that forces 24.0 turnovers a game.Â
- Fifty-five percent of the Eagles' points are coming inside the paint through the first three games, including 40 and 42 points, respectively  two contests. Watch if BC can find ways to score inside.Â
- BC forced 31 turnovers on Sunday against Northeastern. See if the Eagles can continue to force turnovers, as they're forcing 23.3 per game.Â
- Watch if BC can keep OSU off the line, where the Buckeyes are 14th in the country in free throw attempts.Â
Scouting Ohio State (1-1, 0-0 B1G)
- Ohio State is 1-1 after defeating IUPU 108-58 on Sunday in Columbus.Â
- Cotie McMahon led six players in double figures with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting.Â
- Jacey Sheldon is averaging a team-high 19.5 points on 50 percent shooting from the field.Â

- Sheldon and McMahon were named to the preseason All-B1G team.Â
