Lacrosse Welcome No. 18 Notre Dame for Senior Day

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team hosts No. 18 Notre Dame at 2 pm on Saturday in Alumni Stadium in a rematch of last season's NCAA Quarterfinals.Â

Eight seniors will be honored after the game, while neon trucker hats are being given away.

About the Eagles
Last Time Out
The Eagle started fast and didn't let up in an 18-8 win over Virginia Tech last Saturday. Charlotte North tied a season-high with seven goals and posted a team-best eight draw controls. Caitlynn Mossman earned a second straight hat trick with three scores on top of one assist. Jenn Medjid totaled a pair of goals with three assists for five points. North (7 points), Medjid, Mossman (4 points) and Belle Smith (3 points; 1G, 2A) were the four Eagles with at least three points. Six players had at least two points on the afternoon. All it took was a 4-0 start in the opening 5:03 of the game for Boston College to take a lead that it wouldn't relinquish. Kayla Martello was the first to strike before North scored three straight times.Â
North Named ACC Player of the Week
For the fifth time this season, North was named the offensive player of the week. The graduate student scored eight goals, tallied three assists and totaled 11 points. She also registered 11 draw controls in the process. 11 draw controls and a .688 shot on goal percentage.The Dallas, Texas native highlighted her week with a game-high seven goals in an 18-8 win over Virginia Tech on Saturday. She tied her season best for the fourth time this season and tallied eight draw controls.
CT Means Courtney Taylor
Taylor has been one of the most consistent defensive players in the nation, as she is averaging two ground balls per game and 1.42 caused turnovers per contest. Her 163 caused turnovers are second among active players in the country and her 102 ground balls is good for fourth.Â
Mossman Hits 100
Mossman is the second Eagle to hit 100 points this season, as Smith did earlier this season. The senior has 48 goals and 57 assists going into the game on Saturday.Â
Scouting Notre Dame (5-7, 1-4 ACC)
The Fighting Irish are coming off a 27-2 win over Detroit Mercy. Sixteen different players scored in the victory, with Madison Ahern scoring a team-high four times. Ahern has a team-high 38 goals with 11 assists for a team-best 49 points. Kasey Choma's 40 points (34 G, 6 A) is second on the team. Bridget Deehan has played a team-high 12 games between the posts, logging over 650 minutes of action. She has 107 saves and a .459 save percentage.Â

Boston College is 11-8 in 19 meetings against the Fighting Irish and have won 11 of the past 13 matchups since losing the first six. North scored eight times in last matchup to help the Eagles defeat ND, 21-10, in the NCAA Quarterfinals last season.Â
