Lacrosse Starts Three-Game Homestand With Dartmouth

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team hosts Dartmouth in the first of three straight home games on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Alumni Stadium.Â
About the Eagles
Last Time Out
After the Panthers took a 7-3 lead in the first half, the Eagles outscored their foe 16-5 over the final 43:26 of the game. Seven different Eagles scored on the day, with Jenn Medjid totaling a season-high six scores. She and Belle Smith were two Eagles who scored at least five times, as Smith recorded five goals. Medjid and Smith tallied assists as well, giving the teammates seven and six points, respectively. Charlotte North scored four goals and also registered a helper for five points. Caitlynn Mossman led the team with three assists on top of a goal, equaling four points.Â
A Win Would
- Give BC a 10-1 mark.Â
- Improve the Eagles to 4-1 at home.Â
- Give the Eagles a fifth straight win over Dartmouth
Balanced Attack
Six Eagles have double-digit goals, with North (49),  Medjid (37) and Smith (23) all recording at least 20. The trio are ranked in the top 25 in the ACC in goals scored, while North (T-1st) and Medjid (13th) are ranked in the top 15 nationally. Kayla Martello is fourth on the team with 18 goals and  Mossman has 17 on the season.Â
High Flyers
After each game, four players will be highlighted for their performance from the previous game. After Pitt, it was Courtney Taylor, Mossman, Smith and Hollie Schleicher.Â

Scouting Dartmouth (2-5, 0-2 - Ivy League)
Dartmouth is 2-5 on the season and is in the midst of a three-game losing streak. Lucy Murray and Katina Christensen led the team with two goals in the Big Green's 12-7 setback to Brown in their most recent outing. Katie Elders' 17 goals are a team-high on the season, while Murray's nine assists are a team-best. Murray's 13 goals give her a team-high 22 points on the season. Gisele Todd has started five of seven contests between the posts and seen over 350 minutes of playing time. She has 66 saves and a .485 save percentage on the season.Â

Series History
The Eagles are 4-12 against Dartmouth, but have won the previous four matchups. It's the first time since 2019 that the two foes have squared off. BC won that matchup, 20-10.Â
What's Next
BC will host Virginia Tech on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Alumni Field.Â
