BC looking to tie its best start in program history through nine games
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The No. 5 ranked Boston College field hockey team travels to three-time defending national champion North Carolina on Friday night. Game time is set for 4 p.m. and the game can be seen live on regional sports networks around the country.

This past weekend, BC posted a 1-1 record - falling to Syracuse in the ACC opener on Friday night before traveling to New Hampshire and posting a thrilling overtime victory. Through eight games, BC is 7-1 overall - tying for the program's best start.
North Carolina has registered a 4-3 record this season and is entering Friday's match having won its last two. This is the ACC opener for UNC, who is 1-0 at home this season.Â
