Eagles Head to NC State on Saturday

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team hits the road on Saturday, April 17 when the Eagles travel to Raleigh, N.C. to take on NC State. The game, which is set for a noon kick off at Dail Soccer Field, will be live on ACCNX, which is accessible via WatchESPN.com or the ESPN app.

A WIN OVER NC STATE WOULD . . .
• Bump BC's overall record to 4-9-1 with a mark of 3-2-1 in spring slate games.

ABOUT NC STATE
• NC State enters Saturday's contest with a mark of 4-3-1 overall ... the Wolfpack last played on Sunday, April 11, falling on the road at Georgia, 1-0.
• NC State, who did not play in the fall season, opened up the year with a 2-0 win over Old Dominion on Feb. 7 and went on to a 4-0-1 start.
• Leyah Hall-Robinson leads NC State with five points on two goals and one assist while Denae Antoine has also chipped in two goals ... Jameese Joseph has four points with one goal and two assists.
• Goalkeeper Maria Echezarreta has played every minute for the Wolfpack, going 4-3-1 with a .59 goals against average, .762 save percentage and three shutouts.

• The teams first met in 1985, with BC earning 2-1 win ... NC State earned its first win in the next meeting in 1990 before the Eagles went on an 11-game winning streak.
• In last year's meeting on Oct. 5, 2019, NC State earned a 2-0 home win with one goal in each half...it was just the fifth time in the series that a game was decided by more than one goal.
• Of the 17 meetings in the series between NC State and Boston College, 14 have featured a shutout ... the Eagles have posted 10 shutouts in the series.
