Eagles Shine on Saturday in Dual Meet at UMass

Three BC student-athletes take first place finishes in the triple jump, 400m hurdles, and 1,500m
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College men's track & field team competed in a dual meet against UMass and Boston University on Saturday afternoon. The meet was held at the UMass Track & Field Complex.
The Eagles earned three first place finishes on the afternoon. Avery McKenzie won the triple jump, with a leap of 14.80m (48'6.75").
Marcus Manson led three BC finishers in the 400m hurdles, winning in a time of 55.52. Khalfani Green was third (57.48), followed by Jackson Sigalove in fourth (59.24). Edward Tristine won the 1,500m, clocking 3:58.47.
BC runners went 2-7 in the 800m, as Friend Weiler (1:54.93), Steven Jackson (1:54.95), Erik Linden (1:55.36), Adriano Barilla (1:55.41), Ben Davies (1:55.60), and Colin Trigani (1:55.70) all finished within less than a second of each other. Barilla won the second section of the 800m in his season debut.
