Denis Gallagher registers his lifetime best in the 800m (1:52.08)

RALEIGH, N.C. — Boston College's men's track & field team concluded its competition on Saturday at the Raleigh Relays.

Marcus Manson finished ninth in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in a personal best time of 53.92. The time is the eighth-fastest in school history.

Denis Gallagher also matched his personal best in the 800m, clocking 1:52.08. Ben Davies (57th, 1:55.85) and Michael Haines (64th, 2:05.06) also raced in the 800m.

On Friday, Avery McKenzie finished fifth in the triple jump, recording the fourth-best mark in BC history. McKenzie leaped 49'10.5" (15.20m). Michael Oduro was 10th, with a jump of 46'10" (14.27m).

In Thursday's action, Steven Jackson (3:52.66) and John Carter (3:53.70) each registered personal bests, while Erik Linden put forth his fastest performance of the season.
