Hofstra, BC to Meet for Sunday Neutral Site Game

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team will face the Hofstra Pride on Sunday, March 14 in a neutral site game at CFC Park in Bethany, Conn. The game will be closed to the public. Due to staffing limitations, there will be no live stream or live updates but results will be provided after the match.

• Hofstra enters the match 3-0-0 after putting up a 4-3 win over Stony Brook on Feb. 21, a 5-1 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Feb. 25 and a 4-0 win over UAlbany on March 3.

• Jenna Bike led the Eagles with six points on three goals while Emily Knous and Sam Smith had four points each ... Knous scored two goals while Smith had one goal and two assists.
• Michela Agresti and Samantha Agresti played all 725 minutes of the fall season for BC.
• In goal, Allie Augur started all eight games going 1-7-0 with a 0.673 save percentage, 2.31 goals against average and 37 saves.

• The Eagles are led by the trio of Jenna Bike, Jillian Jennings and Mia Karras in 2020-21.
• All three players are first-year captains.
• Bike, who missed the 2019 season due to injury, was named to the United Soccer Coaches Association DI All-Region team as a junior ... she enters her final season on the Heights having appeared in 57 contests with 56 starts while notching 10 goals and 10 assists.
• Karras played in all 18 contests for the Eagles in 2019, a career-high, while making 16 starts and logging the third-most minutes among field players with 1,434 ... she recorded one goal and two assists and will enter her senior season with two goals and two assists.
• Jennings enters her senior season having appeared in all 58 games that BC has played over the last three years ... she has logged over 3,500 minutes for the Eagles while also recording eight assists and one goal ... in 2019, she started all 18 contests and recorded three assists ... her older sister Kayla Jennings was a two-year captain for BC.

ABOUT HEAD COACH JASON LOWE
• Jason Lowe was named the program's fifth head coach on Jan. 9, 2019.
• Lowe arrived on the Heights after serving on the coaching staff at Wake Forest since 2014, including 2017 and 2018 as associate head coach.
• The Shaker Heights, Ohio native helped the Demon Deacons reach the NCAA tournament Round of 32 in 2017 and the Sweet 16 in 2018.
• Prior to Wake Forest, Lowe served as an assistant coach at Alabama for five seasons and two years at Emory.
• Lowe served as a goalkeeper for the Wake Forest men's soccer team from 1994-97.
• In addition to receiving his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest in 1998, Lowe also earned his MBA in 2002.
