No. 10 Eagles Roll Past No. 8 UVA

NEWTON, Mass. - Â The No. 10 Boston College lacrosse team rolled past No. 8 Virginia on Saturday, March 13, 20-11, at the Newton Lacrosse and Soccer Field.

Charlotte North put on another great offensive display Saturday, scoring seven goals on seven shots, while adding two assists and 11 draw controls. Cara Urbank and Jenn Medjid both had three points as well on one goal and two assists and three goals, respectively.

North scored the game's first two goals to help BC jump to a 6-2 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game. Virginia then fought back, scoring three-straight, before North jumpstarted a 5-1 run to close out the first half.

BC never trailed during the game.

Rachel Hall made 10 saves on 21 shots for a .476 save percentage.

BC's offense picked up right where it left off in the second half as Cassidy Weeks scored four seconds after the break.

The Eagles scored nine goals in the second half as well.

BC dominated all over the field, holding Virginia to 24 shots and getting 22 of 32 draw controls. The Eagles also went 15-15 in the clear game.
