CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's track and field team will begin 2020 at the Beantown Challenge, hosted at Harvard University on Saturday, Jan. 11.

What to Know
- Avery Mckenzie opened his 2019-20 season with a bang, jumping 14.99m (49-2.25) in the triple jump to place second at the BU Opener. The mark not only qualifies him for ACC's, but is the fourth-longest jump in program history.
- Last year, Mckenzie placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.55m. His 14.99m jump from the BU Opener would have been good for third last year at the meet.
- The Eagles' 4x880 relay team finished in second at the meet with a time of 7:46.85.
