The Boston College women's basketball team will head to ACC foe Pittsburgh on Sunday at the Petersen Events Center (2 p.m.). The game will be streamed live on the ACC Network.
Boston College is currently 7-6 overall and 0-2 in the ACC. Pittsburgh is now 3-8 and 0-1 in the ACC.
The Eagles last played on Sunday and lost to No. 9 NC State, 72-54. BC was led by Senior Emma Guy with 14 points, sophomore Marnelle Garraud had 11 points and sophomore Taylor Soule pitched in with six points and 10 rebounds.
Pittsburgh is now 3-10 and 0-2 in the conference. The Panthers lost at Notre Dame on Jan. 2, 60-52. Gabbie Green had 13 points and Amber Brown pitched in with 12. In the first ACC matchup, the Panthers lost to North Carolina, 70-62, on Dec. 30.
BC vs. PITTSBURGH
- The BC-Pitt series dates back to 1983, when the teams first met at Boston College. BC lost the game on Jan. 31, 70-62.
- The Eagles lead the overall series, 28-18. The series is tied 3-3 since Pitt joined the ACC.
- BC's first win against Pittsburgh took place on Jan. 8, 1986 (69-57). Former Eagles small forward Marie Grant had 13 points and 14 rebounds in the win.

ALUMNI DAY
- The women's basketball program will welcome all alumni on Sunday, Jan. 12 as the Eagles host Virginia at 2 p.m. at Conte Forum.
- The program will also honor former BC Head Coach Cathy Inglese on that day as well. The Eagles are wearing a CI patch on their uniforms for all ACC games this season.
- Inglese was the head coach at Boston College for 13 seasons from 1993-2008. She guided the Eagles to a 239-151 record during her tenure. Inglese led the Eagles to seven NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the Sweet 16. Inglese passed away suddenly in July.
