- Boston College (16-29, 4-14 ACC) will host Virginia Tech in a three-game ACC series this weekend. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m.
- The Eagles went 1-1 this week as they played a home and away series against Holy Cross. BC lost on Tuesday, 6-0, but bounced back with a 6-1 win on Wednesday. Senior Kendra Friedt (2-1) earned the win on the road.
-The BC softball program will honor the senior class prior to Sunday's game against Virginia Tech. Fans are asked to arrive early as the ceremony will take place before the first pitch at noon. The class being honored includes outfielder Lexi DiEmmanuele, catcher/infielder Allyson Moore, pitcher Kendra Friedt and infielder Carly Severini.

-Freshman Jayme Bailey is second in the ACC in batting (.416 BAA) and on base percentage (.529).
