Lacrosse hosts the Bulldogs for the last non-conference game of the regular season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 1 Boston College women's lacrosse team has a bit of a move ahead of them as they are set to host Yale, Tuesday afternoon in Alumni Stadium. First draw is set for 4:00 p.m. in Chestnut Hill and will be featured on the ACC Network Extra.
The Eagles are coming off of yet another win over a ranked opponent as they returned from Blacksburg with a 16-13 win over the No. 21 Hokies. Backed by six points from senior Sam Apuzzo along with Dempsey Arsenault, Kenzie Kent and Cara Urbank putting up three goals a piece, the Eagles wrapped up their regular season road slate with their 15th consecutive win.Â
The Bulldogs are currently on a two-game win streak, taking down both Connecticut and Columbia. Freshman Olivia Penoyer leads the way with a team-high 53 points.Â
Yale holds a 10-6 all-time record over the Eagles, despite not having come out on top of the contest since 2008. The teams met just last year when BC won, 13-9, as Apuzzo led all scorers with four goals.Â
Following Tuesday's matchup, the Eagles host conference opponent Louisville on Saturday in Alumni Stadium for Senior Day. First draw is set for noon to wrap up the Eagles' regular season slate.Â
