Men's Track Finishes Strong at Ocean State Invitational

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Boston College men's track & field team competed at the Ocean State Invitational. Friday's events were held at Ray Treacy Track at Providence College, while Saturday's competition shifted crosstown to Brown Stadium at Brown University.
On Friday, Stephen Windisch placed second overall in the seeded section of the 400m, in a time of 50.36. Matthew Morano also took fourth in the 800m, in a time of 1:51.23, going out in 52 and closing in 59.
On Saturday across town at Brown Stadium, BC shined in the triple jump, as Avery McKenzie took first place with a leap of 14.41m. His best mark came on his sixth and final attempt. McKenzie cleared the 14-meter mark three times on the afternoon. Michael Oduro was third, with a mark of 13.55m
The Eagles went 3-4-5 in the 400m hurdles, as Marcus Manson (55.00), Max Herrerias (55.09), and Khalfani Green (55.38) led the way. Olivier Boucher was fourth in the 400m, clocking 51.29.
