- Boston College is coming off a series win over ACC foe Syracuse this past weekend. The Eagles won the first game (4-3) and took the second game on Saturday (10-2) in five innings. BC went 2-4 last week going 1-1 in midweek games.
- Last week, sophomore Emme Martinez went 9-for-14 at the plate (643 avg.) with six RBI, 13 total bases and four doubles. Martinez earned Eagle of the Week honors for her outstanding week on the diamond. Martinez went 4-for-4 Sunday vs. Syracuse, which gave her four multi-hit games this season. She is currently in a four-game hit streak.
- Leadoff batter Lexi DiEmmanuele went 7-for-17 (.412 avg.) with nine total baes, five run scored and two stolen bases last week. She now has 91 career steals. DiEmmanuele started all three games vs. Syracuse with a single this past weekend.
- On the mound, freshman pitcher Camryn Dolby went 2-0 with wins against Syracuse. She pitched 15.1 innings, gave up six runs and struck out 18 in four appearances.

- Massachusetts is coming off two wins over St. Bonaventure.
- Sophomore pitcher Kiara Oliver has made 19 appearances and is 4-10. She has recorded 79 strikeouts in 88.1 innings pitched. Oliver has a 2.69 ERA. She picked up her fourth victory in a 5-1 win over St. Bonnies on Sunday. Oliver went seven innings, scattered three hits and struck out seven in the win.
- Offensively, UMass scored four runs in the fifth. The key hit was a two-run double from senior utility players Kaycee Carbone.
- Junior pitcher Quinn Breidenbach earned a 5-4 win over St. Bonnies on Monday. She went 4.2 innings, gave up two runs and struck out four.
- UMass took a 5-0 lead behind two two-run doubles in the fourth inning. Senior outfielder Erin Stacevicz (2-for-4 with 2 RBI) and senior infielder Kaitlyn Stavinoha (2-for-4, 2 RBI) led the UMass offense in the win.
