NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 1 Boston College lacrosse team showed up in stunning fashion, rolling past cross-town rival Boston University, 20-6, Saturday afternoon in Newton. Graduate student Kenzie Kent led all players with nine points from five goals and four assists, just one point short of matching her career-best.
The Eagles saw points from nine different players as the offense exploded for the win. Kenzie Kent began the scoring just 34 seconds into the contest en route to a total 11 first half goals for the home team. Boston College netted six goals before allowing Ava Barry's first of two for the afternoon.

- Junior Sheila Rietano earned her first career start and made a statement, matching her previous career high of two goals.
- Freshman Jenn Medjid saw action in her first contest and tallied her first point with an assist on Kent's second goal of the afternoon.
- Junior Jillian Reilly netted her first career goal with 13:33 remaining in the first half off of a free position shot.
- Senior captain Sam Apuzzo recorded three goals, two of which were just 14 seconds apart.
- Junior Cara Urbank recorded a career-high four goals on the afternoon, which is good for second-most of the game.
- Senior goalkeeper Lauren Daly racked up six saves in her 56:00 of time between the pipes. Sophomore Abbey Ngai relieved Daly late in the second half and earned four minutes of playing time.Â
- Kenzie Kent recorded three consecutive goals within three minutes late in the first half.
- Apuzzo kept control of 11 draws over the contest, while BC won 22 to BU's five.
- Urbank recorded her third career hat trick in 5:01 of playing time to begin the game.Â
- Dempsey Arsenault capitalized on a woman-up advantage, scoring on a free position shot with 14:19 remaining in the contest.Â
