Eagles Top Big Green in Quad Meet

The swim and dive teams earned wins over Dartmouth on Friday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College swim and dive team earned a win over Dartmouth during a quad-meet on Friday night at the Margot Connell Recreation Center. The men's team topped the Big Green with a 158.00-139.00 score as the women earned 203.00 points to Dartmouth's 96.00, but both teams fell to Duke and UConn.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The team of Sam Roche, Sami Fares, Matt Clark and Michael Hinton placed third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:32.53.
- Zachary Szmania earned fourth place in the 1000 free with a time of 9:32.00 and third in the 500 free with a time of 4:34.68.
- Fares placed fourth in the 100 breast with a 57.56 finish.
- Damion Geoghegan Ribeiro earned a tie for second place in the 50 free with a 21.25 finish.
- Clark placed first in the 200 back, finishing in 1:49.30. He also took the win in the 200 individual medley with a 1:50.89 finish.
- Peter Shepanzyk finished fourth in the 200 breast with a 2:07.99 time.
- Matt Szekely placed third in the 200 individual medley, finishing in 1:57.03.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Nicole Barkemeyer, Taylor Covington, Victoria Lin and Haley Dolan combined for third place in the 200 medley relay, finishing with a time of 1:44.78.
- Freshman Lindsey Ryalls placed first in the 1000 free in 10:16.96 and second in the 500 free with a 5:00.70 finish.
- Maura Grimes placed fourth in the 100 back, finishing in 57.58.
- Covington took the top finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.12.
- Lin placed fifth in the 200 fly, finishing in 2:04.05. She also placed fourth in the 100 fly with a 56.45 time.
- Dolan took first in the 50 free with a 23.61 time, while Sofia Zinis (23.86) placed third and Ali Kea (24.04) placed fourth.
- Ashleigh Scott earned second in the 100 free with a 52.60 finish.
- Barkemeyer placed fourth in the 200 back, finishing in 2:03.76.
- Alexa Lantin (2:21.92) and Anna Milia (2:23.21) finished second and third, respectively, in the 200 breast.
- Lantin (2:10.76) and Barkemeyer (2:11.48) placed fourth and fifth in the 200 individual medley.
- Scott, Kea, Zinis and Dolan placed first in the 400 free relay with a 3:29.34 finish.
