No. 16 Eagles Head North to Vermont for Weekend Series

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – 16th-ranked Boston College hits the road for a two-game Hockey East series against Vermont at Gutterson Fieldhouse this weekend (Nov. 15-16). Both games are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will air live on CBS All-Access ($). Pre-game radio coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. both nights on WEEI 850 AM and BCEagles.TV. The Eagles have won three straight games to move back above .500 overall (5-4-0) and in the league (3-2-0).
UCONN SWEEP
• Boston College outscored UConn 11-1 last weekend in a dominant home-and-home sweep of the Huskies
• Rookie Alex Newhook collected his first career multi-goal game and Knight posted a 30-save shutout in a 6-0 win to open the series at Kelley Rink
• Four players put up multi-point efforts in the victory, including a career-high three for senior defenseman Connor Moore (1-2-3)
• Aapeli Räsänen scored his first career hat trick to lead BC past UConn 5-1 on Saturday afternoon at the XL CenterÂ
• Räsänen added an assist for a career-high four points, while Ben Finkelstein (1-1-2), Mike Hardman (1-1-2) and Alex Newhook (0-2-2) also registered multi-point performances
• BC peppered Tomas Vomacka in the UConn net with a season-best 46 shots on goal and allowed a season-low 17

• Boston College is 3-1-0 over the last two weekends to move back over .500 for the season
