
No. 7 Eagles Host Holy Cross on Friday Night

This marks the first-ever trip to Kelley Rink for the Crusaders
Boston College (18-9-0, 15-7-0 HEA) enters Friday's contest with a five-game winning streak after last weekend's home-and-home sweep of Providence. The Eagles earned a pair of 4-2 wins over the Friars, with five players combining for the eight goals on the weekend. Megan Keller put up five points total (1-4-5) and set the Hockey East single-season scoring record for a defender in the process. Keller, who was named the Hockey East Player of the Week and the NCAA's No. 2 Star of the Week, is currently tied for the conference blue liner's single-season goals record at 13. Lindsay Agnew potted two goals in Saturday's win, including a short-handed game-winner early in the third period.
Holy Cross (1-23-3, 1-19-1 HEA) is coming off a home-and-home series against New Hampshire that saw the Wildcats take both games, 4-1 and 3-1. Rachel Moore has a team-high 13 points (6-7-13) while Carlie Magier (5-5-10) and Julie Matthias (4-6-10) are both in double-digits. The squad's first-ever Division I win and lone win of the season came on Nov. 30 in a 5-3 upset of in over then-No. 5 and now No. 3 Northeastern. Matthias racked up four assists in that win. This is the first season in Hockey East and as a full-time Division I program for the Crusaders. The team went 16-9-3 last season while a member of the NEWHA.
The Eagles have taken both of the meetings against Holy Cross this year, earning 5-1 and 5-0 wins on the road. In the last meeting on Nov. 24, Molly Barrow made 16 saves for her first career shutout.
After Friday's game, Boston College will turn its focus to the first round of the Beanpot. The Eagles will face Harvard on Tuesday, Feb. 5 in an 8 p.m. game at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The first semifinal of the day at 5 p.m. will feature No. 8 Boston University and No. 3 Northeastern.

• Kali Flanagan and Ryan Little each played in their 145 career games, good 15th in program history.
• Freshman Kelly Browne is second among conference rookies in face-off wins with 252 (fourth overall) ... she led all freshman in the country in face-off wins in the month of November with 75.
• Megan Keller has registered at least one point in 22 of her 26 games played this season.
• Lonergan's .610 face-off winning percentage is fourth in the league.
• Daryl Watts is fourth in Hockey East with an average of 4.85 shots on goal per game while Lonergan is seventh with an average of 4.20.
• Among forwards, Makenna Newkirk's 38 blocks leads all of Hockey East and is tied for 10th in the country.
• BC started Hockey East play 5-0-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
KELLER MAKES THE CASE FOR KAZ
• Megan Keller leads all defensemen nationally in scoring with 34 points on 14 goals and 20 assists.
• The senior leads all defenders or is tied for first in goals, assists, points, goals per game (0.54), points per game (1.31), power-play goals (5) and game-winning goals (4).
• Four other blue liners sit second with 21 points while the next-closest points per game average is Cornell's Jaime Bourbonnais at 1.12.
• Among all skaters in the country, Keller ranks in the top 15 in points, goals, assists, power-play points and points per game ... she is tied for the national lead in power-play goals.
• The last defender to average at least 1.25 points per game for a season was Keller when she finished her sophomore 2015-16 season at 1.27 per game.
• Keller has 87 shots on goal and is averaging 3.35 shots on goal per game, with both of those numbers ranking third among blue liners.
• She has 34 blocks and a plus-28 rating.
• The Farmington Hills, Mich. native set a new Hockey East single-season points record for a defender on Jan. 25 against Providence and has a 13-16-29 scoring line in conference play ... her 13 goals are tied for a single-season high by a blue liner.
• Her nine career game-winning goals sit tied for 12th in program history.
BELINSKAS COMING ON STRONG
• After putting up four points in her first 22 games, Delaney Belinskas has racked up eight in the last five contests.
• The junior now has 12 points on seven goals and five assists.
• Belinskas put up four points on two goals and two assists in BC's win over No. 3 Northeastern on Jan. 12.
• She has scored the game-winning goals in two of the last five games.
• Belinskas scored in four consecutive contests Jan. 12-25, a career-long goal scoring streak.
• Her career-high point streak of six games came during her 2016-17 freshman season.
• The Eagles are 8-0-0 this season when Belinskas notches at least one point and 5-0-0 when she scores a goal.
AGNEW'S ARRIVAL
• Junior transfer Lindsay Agnew has made a big impact in her first season as an Eagle, setting career-highs in points (18), goals (8) and assists (10).
• Agnew has also scored three game-winning goals and three short-handed goals.
• Against Providence on Jan. 26, Agnew had her first career multi-goal game, scoring twice ... she put home the game-winning short-handed goal in the third period.
• Agnew's three short-handed goals are tied for 12th in program history.
• Her first period tally against Syracuse on Oct. 6 served as not only the winning goal but the first game-winner of her career.
• Agnew earned her first career short-handed goal in BC's win at Holy Cross on Oct. 26.
• The Oakville, Ontario native also put together a career-long six-game point streak.
• The team is 12-2-0 when she has at least one point.
FOUR-OR-MORE
• The Eagles have scored at least four goals in the last five contests...it's the longest such streak for BC this season.
• It's the streak of four-plus goal games for BC since a six-game stretch from Dec. 2-Jan. 7 last season.
