Eagles Wrap-Up Their Weekend at the Terrier Classic

Boston College Men's Track and Field Competed in the John Thomas Terrier Classic at BU This Weekend
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College men's track and field team was back in action Saturday afternoon in the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
On the track, two Eagles placed top 35 in the 200M. Richard Webber crossed the line in 33rd with a time of 22.31, while Ryan Russell took 34th with a time of 22.33.
In the 400M, Marcus Manson finished 11th with a time of 48.76. Benjamin Osipow competed in the mile for BC, finishing in 21st with a time of 4:11.16.
Three Eagles placed in the top 35 of the 800M. Russell Wells finished in 17th with a time of 1:52.84. Matthew Morano came in 26th (1:53.43), and Andrew Willis came in 34th (1:54.42).
In the field, Avery Mckenzie continued his success in the triple jump, registering a distance of 14.59 meters, good enough for seventh. Michael Oduro also competed in the triple jump, finishing 14th with a distance of 13.86 meters.
The 4x400M relay team of Marcus Manson, Stephen Windisch, Michael Saxon, and Max Herrerias finished in 11th with a time of 3:21.20.
The Eagles next meet is the New England Championships, which are held Friday (Feb. 1) and Saturday (Feb. 2) at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass.
