Boston College Women's Track and Field Competed at the Terrier Classic on Friday (Jan. 25)
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College women's track and field team competed in the annual John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University this afternoon.

Jessica Creedon won first place in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.11.
Â
Two Eagles placed top 20 in the 1000M. Gianna Bender finished 10th with a time of 2:51.28, while Katherine DeLoreto took 20th with a time of 2:58.44.

In the 3000M, Boston College had two runners place in the top 15. Nicole Clermont crossed the line in 11th (9:40.10), while Fian Sullivan Sweeney finished 15th (9:42.30).

In the field, Julia Lyons was the lone Eagle to qualify for the finals in the long jump. Lyons finished 10th with a distance of 5.38 meters.

In the high jump, Abigail Gothers and Jessica Creedon tied for 12th, each clearing a height of 1.60 meters.

The team will next compete at the New England Championships which are held on Friday (Feb. 1) and Saturday (Feb. 2) at the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury, Mass.
