PAST HISTORY
On the balance of younger and upper classmen
"Our seniors provide great leadership to the under-classmen as well as the entire team. I think they represent themselves well on and off the field. I think when we have so many young kids who are playing, they can look to those older girls and feed off them and ask them for advice. I think they've been doing a great job mentoring them."
Â
On Sharabba's strong start to the season
"Chloe had a big weekend and had a big hit for us against Texas State. I'm not really surprised. I think she's the hardest worker on our team. She's always staying after and hitting off the machine or taking extra ground balls. I think she is someone on a mission this year and wants her senior year to go better than any of her other years."
Â
On using the momentum from the win over Texas State
"I think it was a big win. Texas State is a really good team. They threw their number one, so I think the fact that we scored a couple of runs off of her is good, and Dreswick had a career-high 11 strikeouts – I think we're going to move on and get better from that."
