Eagles Set to Host Harvard on Tuesday Night

Non-conference foe makes the short trip to Newton.

The Eagles (3-3-3, 2-3-0 ACC) are coming off four consecutive conference games against ranked opponents. On Saturday, BC ended a three-game skid by taking down then-ranked No. 17 NC State, 1-0, behind Simon Enstrom's 61st minute header.

Harvard (3-7-0, 1-1-0, Ivy) is coming off a 4-2 loss to Cornell on Oct. 6, falling to the Big Red after a hat trick from Charles Touche.

The Crimson and Eagles have two shared opponents thus far in 2018, with both teams playing Providence and Boston University. BC tied both the Friars (1-1) and Terriers (3-3) while Harvard earned two wins against Providence (2-1) and BU (2-1 OT).

After hosting Harvard, Boston College will begin a two-game road swing starting with a trip to conference foe Wake Forest on Friday, Oct. 12.

• Harvard last played on Saturday, Oct. 6, falling 4-2 to Ivy League rival Cornell
• Freshman Alfred Perez leads the team with six points on two goals while three other players have four points each.
• Harvard has had seven different goal scorers this season and each game-winning goal has come from a different player.
• Three players have seen time in goal for the Crimson, with Matt Freese seeing the majority of the time … Freese is 3-3-0 with a 1.54 goals against average and a.756 save percentage.Â

• Boston College earned its first win of the season over a ranked opponent last time out, defeating then No. 17 NC State, 1-0, on Oct. 5 in Newton.
• Simon Enstrom headed home the game-winning goal off of a Kristofer Konradsson corner kick in the 61st minute.
• It was BC's first win over a ranked opponent since the Eagles defeated No. 4 North Carolina, 1-0, on Nov. 6, 2016 in the ACC Tournament.Â

ENSTROM COMING IN CLUTCH
• In all three of the Eagles' wins this season, Simon Enstrom has scored the game-winning goal.
• The senior's brace lifted BC to a 2-1 win over Quinnipiac in the season opener while his 89th minute goal earned a win over Clemson on Sept. 7 and his 61st did it against NC State on Oct. 5.
• Enstrom also has two key game-tying goals on the season, doing it against Boston University on Aug. 27 with an 87th minute score and versus Holy Cross on Sept. 11.Â
