Borak Named to the ACC All-Freshman Team

The goalkeeper recognized as one of the top freshmen in the league
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Boston College men's soccer freshman goalkeeper Andrej Borak has been named to the ACC Men's Soccer All-Freshman Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday morning.
He becomes just the second BC goalkeeper ever to be named to the ACC All-Freshman Team, following Justin Luthy in 2009.
The Serbia native started 14 games this season, making 53 saves while allowing 22 goals for a .741 save percentage and a 1.57 goals against average, and posted four shutouts.
In league play, Borak led the ACC in saves per game with 4.88 and was sixth in save percentage (.765). The sophomore recorded two shutouts in ACC matches, posting a six-save performance in the 1-0 win over No. 14 Virginia Tech, and a seven-save performance in the 0-0 draw against No. 7 Duke.
