SOARING THROUGH THE SEASON
• The Eagles' 13-7 ACC record puts them second in the conference. They won six of their first seven ACC series.
• BC is 12-3 at home.
• The Eagles swept Syracuse with two eighth-inning walk-off plays on April 2.
• The team also swept Georgia Tech on April 22-23.
• BC has been successful against tough competition, defeating No. 21 Arizona State, 3-2, on Feb. 20.

CORTEZ CRUSHES IT
• Senior Tatiana Cortez leads BC with 11 home runs, 43 RBI, a .400 on-base percentage and a .610 slugging percentage. She has also batted .309.
• Cortez hit two home runs, including the walk-off home run in Sunday's 7-6 win against NC State on Back the Blue Day. The event honored law enforcement and Ronny Cortez, a 24-year veteran of the Houston Police Department who was critically injured in a shooting in the line of duty on Feb. 28.
• Cortez was named espnW player of the week on Wednesday for her walk-off home run.
• Cortez holds the program records for career home runs (45) and RBI (165) and has tied the program record for RBI in a single game (seven).
• The third baseman/catcher set the program record for career RBI (previously 142) and tied the team records for career home runs (41) and RBI in a single game in the doubleheader March 8 against Penn and USF.
• Cortez recorded seven RBI against Penn with a grand slam and a three-run home run. Only two other Eagles have recorded a seven-RBI game: Jenna Macchi (March 31 and April 10, 2007) and Tory Speer (May 5, 2011).
• The three-run home run against Penn gave Cortez 142 RBI, tying Speer's career record. Cortez then broke her record with a two-run home run against USF, giving her 144 RBI.
• Cortez's home run against the Bulls gave her 41 in her career, tying Speer for the program record.
• The Houston native broke BC's all-time career home run record with a solo shot March 25 against Pittsburgh, giving her 42 total home runs.
• Cortez's .768 slugging percentage last year broke the record for BC's single-season mark, previously held by Cara Blumfield with .766 in 2002.
MOUND MOMENTUM
• The Eagles' pitching staff ranks in the top three in the ACC in seven categories: first in batters struck out looking (98), second in ERA (2.26), second in opposing batting average (.220), second in fewest hits allowed (268), third in strikeouts (256), third in fewest home runs allowed (18) and third in saves (five).
• BC sits 40th nationally in ERA.
• Junior Jessica Dreswick ranks in the top six in the ACC in seven categories: first in batters struck out looking (65), first in games started (35), first in innings pitched (194.2), second in strikeouts (161), third in wins (22), fourth in ERA (2.10) and sixth in opposing batting average (.214).
• Dreswick broke BC's record for wins in a season when she earned her 20th victory April 23 against Georgia Tech. She surpassed junior Allyson Frei (2015) and Allison Gage (2008), who both won 19 games in those respective seasons.
• Dreswick's sits 14th nationally in victories and 41st in the nation in strikeouts.
• Dreswick did not allow a single earned run in starts against two ranked teams: No. 13/14 James Madison and No. 21/22 Arizona State.
• Senior Jordan Weed sits in first in the ACC fewest hits allowed (48), third in opposing batting average (.203) and fifth in ERA (2.36).
SPEED DEMONS
• Boston College ranks third in the ACC with 71 stolen bases.
• Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele sits in third in the league with 30 stolen bases, putting her 30th nationally with 0.61 stolen bags per game.
• DiEmmanuele has 54 career stolen bases – second all-time in program history. She surpassed Rene Delagrammaticas '12 for second with her 35th stolen base March 3 against South Alabama. Megan Cooley '16 holds first place with 86.
• DiEmmanuele ranks second and third for most stolen bases in a single season in team history. She has stolen 30 this year and stole 24 last season. Cooley has the record with 31 in 2013.
• Senior Taylor Coroneos and junior Annie Murphy have each stolen 11 bases.
STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE
• Senior Tatiana Cortez ranks third in the ACC in home runs (11), sixth in RBI (43) and ninth in slugging percentage (.610).
• Senior Taylor Coroneos has hit a team-leading .345.
• Five other Eagles have hit .300 or better: junior Chloe Sharabba (.329), junior Annie Murphy (.313), Cortez (.309), junior Jordan Chimento (.299) and sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele (.297).
• Murphy has reached base in 15 straight games, posting a .404 OBP in that span.
• Sharabba has hit .450 with three home runs and 17 runs against ACC teams.
• DiEmmanuele has hit .350 against league foes.
