Louisville had runners on the corners with the score tied, 1-1, in the top of the fourth. Morgan Meyer singled to the pitcher to give the Cardinals a 2-1 lead.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Taylor Coroneos led off the bottom of the first by reaching on the pitcher's throwing error. She advanced to second and then third off a pair of sacrifice grounders. Then senior Tatiana Cortez reached on the third baseman's error, scoring Coroneos to make it a 1-0 BC lead.
- Louisville scored five runs in the fourth off two hits and four errors, generating a 5-1 lead.
- BC assembled a rally in the bottom of the seventh, beginning with singles from Cortez and sophomore Allyson Moore.
- Freshman Megan Overton pinch ran for Moore. Weed belted a two-out double to deep right, plating Cortez and Overton to cut Louisville's lead to 5-3.
- Louisville recorded the final out to clinch the victory.
