HOW IT HAPPENED
- Friedt and Bryant starting pitcher Logan Paul kept the game scoreless through three innings. Friedt allowed only one hit in that span.
- In the top of the fourth, Cortez hit a single to shortstop. Then sophomore Allyson Moore doubled down the right field line, just inside fair territory. That set up DiEmmanuele's scoring play to make it a 1-0 BC lead.
- Dreswick recorded the save, securing BC's lead with three no-hit innings.
