BC HIGHLIGHTS
- The Boston College men's track and field team continued its 2017 outdoor campaign this weekend traveling down to Atlanta to compete in the Georgia Tech Invitational.
- On Friday evening, sophomore Sean Burke had an impressive 12th-place performance in the 1500m, setting a personal-best mark with his time of 3:53.86. Sophomore Benjamin Osipow also posted a personal-best time of 4:00.58.
- Getting Saturday's action underway was sophomore Mikhail Bethell in the 400m hurdles. Bethell continued his improved in the event this season by earning a personal-best time of 56.34.
- The Eagles' senior tandem = Nicholas Nash and Obinna Nwankwo was strong in their signature event – the 400m – yet again. Nash flew to a personal-best time of 47.97, claiming 9th place overall. Nwankwo took 11th overall, also with a personal best of 48.01.
- In the 800m, sophomores Matthew Morano and Ian Ritchie were back-to-back finishers in 13th and 14th places, respectively. The classmates' times were nearly identical, as well, as Morano crossed the line in 1:54.16, and Ritchie in 1:54.25.
- Nash and Nwankwo returned to the track to race in the 200m, once more coming up with big results. Nash led the way, coming through in 21.95, while Nwankwo was shortly behind, finishing in 22.13, his second PR on the day.

The Eagles return to action next weekend, where athletes will compete in the esteemed Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa.
