The Boston College women's golf team will travel to South Carolina this week to compete in the 2017 ACC Championship at the Reserve Golf Club on Pawleys Island. BC will tee off on Thursday morning at 8 a.m. along with Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.
"The team has played exceptionally well over the course of this academic year, with four wins and two runner-up finishes out of eight tournaments,'' said Head Coach Drew Kayser. "The players have been working diligently on their games, both outdoors and indoors, through this winter and early spring season. Stellar play by Lois (Kaye Go) has fueled the team, elevating expectations and placing her in the top 100 nationally as an individual."
"Yet, ultimately, this is a team sport, and each and every player has contributed to the program's success this year. This is a wonderful group of supportive, young ladies who are committed to the here-and-now, to grinding out every shot, and getting the most out of their games."
The Eagles have won four tournaments this year, the most since the 2010-11 season. Â The 2016-17 team scoring average is 75.19, while the fall season average was 74.04.
