BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Boston College remain perfect at home and move to 5-0 this season.
- BC had four players record hat tricks in a game for the first time since Feb. 18, 2015 at UMass Lowell.
- BC dominated the draw circle, winning 23-of-33 draw controls.
- Elizabeth Miller recorded a career-high eight draw controls in the game, tying her for the fifth-most in a game in program history.
- Sam Apuzzo finished the game with six points (3G, 3A) and tied her career high in draw controls with eight to match Miller in the record book.
- Kate Weeks led the Eagles with seven points in the contest, including five goals on six shots.
- Kenzie Kent saw her first action of the season, she finished the game with one goal and two assists.
- Kayla O'Connor recorded a career highs in points with six and ground balls with four.
- Kaileen Hart tallied the final hat trick for the Eagles, capping it off with a beautiful behind-the-back goal.
- Sheila Rietano recorded her first collegiate point, assisting on a goal by Caroline Zaffino.
TURNING POINT
- After Yale cut BC's lead to one at 16:35 in the second half, the Eagles scored six unanswered goals, including three in a span of 26 seconds to make it, 16-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Yale scored the first goal of the game at 28:41.
- BC countered and netted three goals in a span of 47 seconds.
- The Eagles continued to roll on offense and added four more goals to lead, 7-1, with 16:14 remaining in the half.
- Yale outscored the Eagles 4-2 in the final 15 minutes to make it a 9-5 game at the half.
- Yale built momentum and made it a one-goal game at 10-9 with 16:35 remaining in the contest.
- Laura Frankenfield extended the lead back to two and kicked off a 6-0 run for BC to push the Eagles out front, 16-9.
- The Eagles and the Bulldogs traded three goals each the remainder of the game.
