Murphy opened the top of the second with a single to shortstop. She advanced to second base on a wild pitch. Following two strikeouts from North Dakota State's Jacquelyn Sertic, Coroneos hit a two-out single into left to score Murphy for the game's only run.

Abilene Christian led, 5-2, in the top of the seventh inning with two outs. BC loaded the bases. Hixenbaugh hit a bases-clearing double to centerfield to tie the game, 5-5.

BC HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Jessica Dreswick threw a two-hit shutout in BC's win against North Dakota State, fanning six and never letting a runner advance past second base.
- Junior Annie Murphy finished the day 3-for-7 with three runs.
- Murphy was involved in both game-winning runs. The outfielder reached on a fielder's choice in the eighth inning against Abilene Christian, plating sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele to put BC ahead, 8-7. Murphy also scored in the 1-0 win against North Dakota State.
- Senior Taylor Coroneos hit 2-for-3 with one RBI against the Bison. The outfielder holds a .375 batting average.
- Freshman Jules Trevino recorded her first-career home run and hit 2-for-4 against Abilene Christian.
- Freshman Halle Hixenbaugh recorded a three-RBI double that tied the game against the Wildcats at 5 with two outs in the top of the seventh.
- Senior Jordan Weed pitched three shutout innings against Abilene Christian. She has not allowed a run in four innings this season.

- BC scored the pitching duel's only run, as Coroneos plated Murphy with a single in the top of the second inning.
- Dreswick finished the game with two perfect innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Abilene Christian's Holly Neese reached on an error, allowing Taylor Brown to score an unearned run and give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first.
- Murphy hit a double in the top of the second inning. Trevino followed with her first-career home run to give BC the 2-1 advantage.
- Kaleigh Singleton hit a leadoff homerun in the bottom of the second for Abilene Christian, tying the game, 2-2. Brown reached later that inning on a fielder's choice. Peyton Hedrick then hit a single down the right-field line to score Brown and give the Wildcats a 3-2 lead.
- Abilene Christian added two more runs in the fifth. Brianna Barnhill walked with the bases loaded. Brown followed with a single to score Casey-May Huff.
- Cortez walked to open the top of the seventh. Freshman Megan Overton pinch ran for Cortez. Murphy then reached on a fielder's choice. Trevino singled to put the tying run at the plate. Freshman Brenna Griesser reached on a fielder's choice as Murphy advanced to third with two outs. Abilene Christian needed one out to clinch the victory. However, sophomore Carly Severini walked to load the bases, setting up Hixenbaugh's seventh-inning heroics.
- DiEmmanuele began the eighth inning on second base. Junior Chloe Sharabba advanced her to third on a sacrifice bunt. Cortez walked. Murphy reached on a fielder's choice, scoring DiEmmanuele for the game-winning run.
- Weed completed the victory, allowing only one hit in three shutout innings.
