Emma Guy post a double-double - 12 points, 11 rebounds
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The Boston College women's basketball team fell, 66-58, despite 18 points from sophomore Taylor Ortlepp and a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds) from sophomore Emma Guy. The Eagles are now 3-5 on the season, while the Stags improved to 3-5.

The Eagles led 26-25 entering the second half and were tied with the Stags 47-47 in the fourth quarter with 5:20 left to play, but Fairfield scored three three-pointers to pull ahead in the final minutes and claim the victory.

BC shot 36.2 percent from the floor while Fairfield shot 37.5 percent. The Eagles out-rebounded the Stags 51-31.

- Taylor Ortlepp led the team with 18 points, including hitting three-of-five from the behind the arc and five-of-seven from the free-throw line.
- Emma Guy had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
- Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris chipped in with 16 points and seven rebounds.
- Fairfield led 12-11 at the end of the first quarter. BC was led by Ortlepp's seven points, including two three-pointers.
- The Stags had a 15-11 lead at 9:24 on a three-pointer by Casey Foley. BC chipped away and tied it on a three-point play by junior Georgia Pineau a minute later.
- BC closed out the half on a three-pointer by Bolden-Morris - BC 26, Fairfield 25.
- Fairfield opened up the third quarter with a 9-3 run to pull ahead to a 36-29 lead with 4:30 left to play in the quarter. The Stags outscored the Eagles 9-3 to finish out the third and increase their lead to 45-38.
- BC opened the fourth quarter on a 7-3 run, including four points by Ortlepp and a three-pointer by Bolden Morris to pull within 45-47. The Eagles tied the score at 47-47, but Samantha Cooper hit three three-pointers and the Stags outscored the Eagles 15-9 in the last four minutes to pull ahead to a 66-58 victory.
- BC had a 33-18 lead in rebounding at the half and totaled 50 rebounds in the game.
- The Eagles shot 9-for-13 from the foul line.
- BC finished the game with 19 turnovers.
- Boston College will travel to Worcester, Mass on Wednesday, Dec. 6 to take on fellow Jesuit institution, Holy Cross, at 7:05 p.m.
