- Boston College gets its first-ever opportunity to play outdoors at Fenway Park on Tuesday night as part of Women's and Girls Hockey Day at Frozen Fenway
- Tuesday's game marks the second BC hockey - men & women - game in three days at Fenway as the Eagles' men earned a 3-1 win over Providence on Sunday night
- The men's team has played at Fenway Park four times, going 3-1 in those games

- BC and Harvard have met 38 times in varsity play since the Eagles elevated to Division 1 status in the 1994-95 season
- The Eagles trail the all-time series, 12-25-1 ... at home, BC is 6-8-0 against Harvard, and 2-14-1 on the road at the Bright-Landry Center ... BC leads 4-3-0 on neutral ice
- The teams met twice in 2015-16, with the Eagles handing the Crimson a pair of losses ... BC claimed its first road in the series since 2006 with a 2-0 victory in January ... in the first round of the Beanpot, the Eagles posted an 8-0 victory en route to their sixth championship
- The teams met three times in 2014-15, with the Crimson giving BC two of its three losses on the season (Beanpot Championship and NCAA semifinals)

- Kenzie Kent (2g, 4a) is the team's active scoring leader with six points ... as a freshman, she registered a four-point game (2g, 2a) in the team's 10-2 win at Kelley Rink
- Megan Keller (2g, 1a) and Andie Anastos (1g, 2a) each have three points against Harvard ... all of Keller's points came in the Eagles' 8-0 win over the Crimson in the first round of the 2016 Beanpot
- Makenna Newkirk picked up all three of her assists against Harvard in the first round of the 2016 Beanpot in the Eagles' 8-0 win
- Kristyn Capizzano's two assists against Harvard also came in last year's Beanpot meeting
- Kali Flanagan has one goal against Harvard, while Grace Bizal has one assist against the Crimson
- Katie Burt is 3-2-0 against Harvard in five starts, posting a 1.41 GAA with a .931 save percentage and two shutouts ... both of her shutouts came in 2015-16: a 2-0 win that necessitated 29 saves and the 8-0 win at the Beanpot that required 12 saves
HOT STREAK CONTINUES INTO 2017
- Boston College has gone 10-1-2 in its last 13 games and 6-0-2 in its last eight games
- The Eagles' lone loss in this recent stretch came at Boston University on Nov. 5 when the Terriers stormed back to claim a 5-3 win at Walter Brown Arena after entering the third period down 2-0
- During this run, the Eagles have played eight road games, going 6-1-1 in those games, plus its 4-0-1 mark at Kelley Rink
KENNEDY WITH EXCUSED ABSENCES BEHIND THE BENCH
- Associate head coach Courtney Kennedy will miss Tuesday's game - one of five through the Jan. 14 game at Merrimack from which she'll be absent
- Kennedy is currently serving as an assistant coach with the U.S. Under-18 National Team at the 2017 IIHF Under-18 World Championships, which started Jan. 7 in Zlin, Czech Republic
- This is her third time serving as an assistant coach with the U.S. Under-18s at the World Championships (2013, 2014) ... the U.S. earned silver in both her earlier stints with the team
- In addition to Kennedy, former BC All-American Molly Schaus is serving as the team's goaltending coach, and incoming Class of 2021 signee Cayla Barnes is the captain of the U.S. U18 squad at the tournament
THREE-GAME WEEK KICKS OFF
- BC is playing three games in five days this week
- After Tuesday's game against Harvard, the Eagles will face Merrimack in a two-game Hockey East series on Friday and Saturday
- This week marks the most congested segment of the Eagles' schedule and is also part of a six-week stretch that sees BC play five mid-week games
MERRIMACK SERIES TIME CHANGES
- Both games of this weekend's Merrimack series have had time changes
- Friday's game at Kelley Rink will now face off at 4 p.m., instead of the originally scheduled 7 p.m.
- Saturday's game at Lawler Rink is now set for 1 p.m., rather than 2 p.m. as originally scheduled
CAPIZZANO CAPS WEEK WITH PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONOR
- Kristyn Capizzano scored four of the Eagles' five goals in a pair of contests last week, earning her first-ever Hockey East Player of the Week nod
- As BC went 1-0-1, she led all Hockey East players in goals and was second in points behind co-player of the week McKenna Brand's five in three games.
- On Wednesday, Capizzano registered her first career hat trick in BC's 4-3 win over Syracuse, which included the game-tying goal and eventual game-winning goal.
- On Saturday, Capizzano netted the game-tying goal in the third period as BC played to a 1-1 tie with Boston University.
- Capizzano's honor was the Eagles' ninth weekly honor from the conference this season
EARLY SIGNEES ALL BUSY AT IIHF UNDER-18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
- All three of the Eagles' November signees have earned spots on their countries' rosters for the 2017 IIHF Under-18 World Championships in the Czech Republic, Jan. 7-14
- Cayla Barnes is the captain of the U.S. entry at the tournament ... this is her third appearance at the U18 World Championships having won gold in both previous visits (2015, 2016)
- Both Maegan Beres and Daryl Watts were named to Hockey Canada's team ... Watts was a member of the silver-medal winning squad last year, while Beres is made her Canadian U18 debut at the tournament
- Through the U.S.' first two games, Barnes has three goals and one assist ... she shares the tournament's scoring lead - and is the tournament's leading goal scorer - entering the final round of group play on Tuesday against Canada ... she was also selected as the U.S. Player of the Game in game one against Russia
- Through Canada's first two games, Watts has scored one goal, while Beres has added one assist
- The U.S. and Canada are scheduled to meet at 9:30 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 10, in the teams' final group round game
