- Rapp will start on Sunday and share time with the BC bullpen.
Scouting the Purple Eagles
- Niagara enters the weekend with a 16-30-1 overall record and are 12-19-1 away from home.
- The last time out, the Purple Eagles dropped a doubleheader to Buffalo on Tuesday.
- In his last start, Saturday starter RHP Zachary Kolodziejski went eight innings, allowing three runs on nine hits, two walks and struck out eight in a 3-1 loss to Manhattan College on May 7.
- The Purple Eagles are led by Michael Fuhrman with a .364 batting average. Tanner Kirwer leads the team with 33 hits, 29 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.
- Niagara lost, 10-1, to common opponent Ohio State, whom the Eagles beat, 6-2. Both played back in the early part of the season. The Purple Eagles also fell to Pittsburgh and Notre Dame early in the year, both ACC opponents.

- The Eagles currently have 27 overall wins, which ties a high under head coach Mike Gambino, set last season.
- BC has won nine of its last 13 games.
- Junior Johnny Adams is on a career-long, 10-game hit streak, which ties a season long for the Eagles. He has 27 hits in the last 18 games and has reached base in the last 15 games.
- Sophomore Jake Palomaki has reached base in 38 of the Eagles' 45 games.
- Junior Michael Strem has record at least one hit in 13 of the last 19 games. Â He also has eight outfield assists on the year, tied for fourth in the nation. The Eagles' 13 total outfield assists is tied for ninth.
- Junior Nick Sciortino has reached base in the last 14 games while his 15 runners caught stealing is first in the ACC.
- Freshman Jacob Stevens has allowed just 12 earned runs over 61.1 innings in his early BC career. His 1.76 ERA is fourth in the ACC and 24th in the nation.
